Platform Improvements: New reporting dashboards

Program Performance Dashboard

A new, comprehensive view of your verification funnel designed to centralize performance insights.

  • Waterfall visibility: Track users through every stage of the journey, from instant verification to manual review
  • Better insights: Gain deeper visibility into rejected, eligible, and inconclusive results
  • Unified analytics: View organization and segment data alongside program performance on a single screen with flexible date ranges
The previous Performance Dashboard has been renamed Program Pulse Report and is available in the dropdown menu.

Bundle Tracking Dashboard

Enhanced tracking for clients utilizing verification bundles to better manage usage and contracts.

  • Contract clarity: View bundle consumption broken down by specific programs and contracts
  • Usage insights: Access granular tracking details to monitor your contract health in real-time

Consumer Verification: Email-only Reward Delivery

To help prevent offer abuse and scripted attacks, you can now choose to hide reward codes on the verification success page and deliver them exclusively via email.

Key benefits:

  • Enhanced security: Combats automated scripts by requiring users to access a valid email inbox to receive their offer
  • Reduced abuse: Ensures codes are only distributed to verified, reachable users

How to enable: Contact the Product Support Team to activate this feature for your account.

Important considerations: Before enabling, ensure your success emails are active and your success page includes a clear "Check your email" instruction. This feature is not recommended for programs already utilizing an email verification loop.

Platform Improvements: External User IDs in Verification Reports

You can now include an External User ID column in your downloadable reports, making it easier to sync SheerID data with your internal CRM and marketing tools.

Why it matters:

  • Seamless syncing: Bridge the gap between SheerID data and your internal identifiers
  • No manual matching: Eliminate the need to manually reconcile verificationId with your own system records

How to enable:

  1. Enable Require Consumer's Account ID in your program settings
  2. This functionality is managed via a feature flag with account context, allowing it to be toggled on or off based on specific client needs. Contact the Product Support Team to enable for specific accounts if needed

Platform Improvements: New Data and Retention Settings

Account Owners can now manage data retention and privacy policies directly in MySheerID under the new Data Privacy and Retention section – no support ticket required.

Key features:

  • Custom retention periods: Set storage limits for PII (up to 730 days) and document uploads (up to 730 days) at the account level or via program-specific overrides
  • Product improvement control: Easily toggle your opt-in status for data usage in product improvements
  • Full transparency: Access a complete audit log of all policy changes and set up email alerts for your team

Important details:

  • Future data only: New policies apply only to data collected after the change is saved
  • Policy updates: To update your settings via the dashboard, you must select one of our standard duration options. For non-standard values, please contact the Product Support Team

Platform improvements: MFA Security Upgrade

This month we have transitioned our MFA provider from Duo to Auth0 to provide a faster, more reliable login experience.

Key changes:

  • Flexible options: You can now use any standard TOTP app (Google, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy) or Auth0 Guardian
  • Reduced friction: Select Remember this device for 30 days on trusted hardware to minimize login attempts

Action required:

  • Existing users: You will be prompted to perform a one-time re-enrollment of your MFA method during your next login
  • New users: Contact Product Support to enable MFA on your account
