Managing available coupon codes

Overview

MySheerID will automatically send notification alerts via email when your reward pool is running low on codes to ensure you have an opportunity to add additional codes before running out. The article below describes some configuration settings available for these alerts.

Managing alert thresholds

There are 3 alerts that will trigger a notification email when a reward pool begins to run low on codes. Each of these alerts will send a single email. The alerts are as follows:

• When the number of available codes reaches your defined alert threshold
• When the number of available codes drops to 50% of your defined alert threshold
• When the number of available codes drops to 10% of your defined alert threshold

Accessing alert threshold settings requires the Program Admin permission. Users with this permission can access access alert threshold settings by following these steps:

1. Log in to MySheerID.
2. Select the Programs icon from the left-hand navigation menu
3. Under Single-Use Codes, click on "Manage Alerts"

The only number you need to adjust here is the Threshold. This will be the number of available codes at which you want to trigger the first alert via email. The application will automatically calculate when alerts will occur for 50% and 10% based on the primary threshold number you set.

In the example below, the Threshold has been set to 200, so email alerts will be sent when 200 available reward codes remain in the reward pool. MySheerID has automatically calculated that additional alerts will be sent if the reward pool reaches 100 (50% of the Threshold) or 20 (10% of the Threshold) remaining codes.

Managing notification email recipients

Low reward code alert emails will be sent to any users who have the Reward Admin permission assigned to them in MySheerID.

Resolving low reward pool levels

There are two primary paths to resolving low reward pool levels.

If both of the following conditions are true:

• The low code alert email recipient is a Program Admin (in addition to being a Reward Admin)
• The program has been configured to allow more codes to be uploaded

...then the email received will include a direct link that can be clicked in order to upload more codes to the relevant program's reward pool.
