The Program Performance Dashboard provides a clear view of your SheerID verification programs. This dashboard aggregates data across a large variety of your SheerID implementation, and provides visualizations of your main metrics.
You can use this tool to monitor consumer verification volumes and outcomes. You can also compare different marketing programs and see the split between instant verifications and document reviews. The dashboard provides insights into where your customers are and which groups they belong to.
You must have reporter permission to view or download these reports in MySheerID.
How to access the dashboard
- Log in to your MySheerID account
- Click on the Reporting tab
- Open the menu next to Program Pulse Report
- Select Program Performance Dashboard from the list
Filters
| Date range | This shows metrics for verifications that happened within the dates you choose |
| Program name | This displays metrics for a specific program. If you leave this blank (e.g., is any value), the dashboard shows all programs |
| Community | This shows metrics for a specific group. If you leave this blank (e.g., is any value), the dashboard displays all communities |
| Organization country | This shows metrics for the country where the organization is located. If you leave this blank (e.g., is any value), it shows all countries |
Data Glossary
| Verifications | The total number of verifications consumers submitted during your chosen dates |
| Verification growth |
This compares the number of verifications in your chosen date range to the same amount of time before those dates e.g., If you look at the last 30 days, this metric compares those 30 days to the 30 days before them |
| Daily average verifications | The average number of verifications that happen per day within the selected date range |
| Instant verification |
This is a verification that is decisioned right away without requiring a document upload or manual review • Verifications decisioned by Automated Document Review (ADR) are not instant because the consumer must upload a document • Verifications with Inconclusive results are considered instant |
| Automated Document Review (ADR) | A verification that was decisioned by SheerID’s automated document review system |
| Manual Document Review (MDR) | A verification that was decisioned manually by a document reviewer agent |
| Eligibility |
The final outcome of the verification: • Eligible: The consumer is confirmed eligible for the offer or reward. This is also referred to as 'true', 'approved', or 'successful' • Rejected: The consumer was confirmed ineligible for the offer or reward. This is also referred to as 'not approved', 'disapproved', or 'false' • Inconclusive: This means the consumer did not complete the process. This usually happens if they stop after the instant check fails. This is also referred to as 'null' |

The total time elapsed for the verification (from submission to final response, including document review) grouped into time buckets e.g., 0-1 minute, 1-12 hours, 1-2 days, 2+ weeks |
| Program name | The name of the program the consumer used. Programs define the verification flow, eligible communities, data sources, and configuration settings |
| Go Live date | The date the first verification was submitted for the program |
| Community |
The group the consumer claimed to be a part of, also called 'Audience' or 'Segment' e.g., Student, Teacher / Faculty, Military |
| Affiliation types |
The specific sub-groups checked when the consumer submitted their verification e.g., Active duty and veteran are sub-groups within the military community |
| Verification type |
The primary verification type the system used to decide the result Instant verification types include: • Authoritative: Indicates that SheerID has attempted to find a match within one of its authoritative data providers • SSO: Indicates that a user was verified by entering their credentials directly in a login screen hosted by the organization entered on the verification form and that organization letting SheerID know the login was successful • Email Loops: indicates that a verification email was sent to the address provided; clicking the link in that email completes verification (may include domain validation) • Ambassador: indicates this verification was approved by the In-Person event feature • Other: includes verifications that are approved or rejected by the Predictive, Validation, or Verification Rules Engine Non-instant verification types include: • Automated Doc Review: SheerID’s automated mechanism for reviewing documents |
| Review duration | The median number of minutes between a document upload and the final decision |
| Documents uploaded | The total number of documents uploaded by the consumer when attempting to verify their eligibility. Consumers are usually provided with the opportunity to upload a document after not being approved by an instant verification source |

The list of reasons for why a document was rejected by the automated document review system or by a manual document review agent e.g., Document Likely Fraud, Document Unsupported, Document Expired |
| Organization name |
The name of the school, institution, or group the consumer selected or manually entered during verification. This is the organization the consumer claims affiliation with e.g., University of Oregon, Army, Cleveland Clinic, etc. |
| Organization type |
The category for the type of organization the consumer selected on the verification form e.g., university, military, K12, first responder |
| Organization country |
The country where the consumer’s organization is located e.g., United States, Canada, United Kingdom |
| Organization state |
The state of where the consumer’s organization is located e.g., California, New York, Oregon |
| Consumer age | How old the consumer was when they initiated the verification. Null if age was not collected or is not applicable to the verification type |

| Instant rate |
The percentage of all approved verifications that were decisioned without requiring a document upload Calculated as: instant approvals / all approvals |
| Automated Document Review rate |
The percentage of all verifications decisioned by Automated Document Review Calculated as: automated document review verifications / total verifications |
| Manual Document Review rate |
The percentage of all verifications decisioned by Manual Document Review Calculated as: manual document review verifications / total verifications |
| Eligible rate |
The percentage of all verifications that were ultimately approved (eligible, true) Calculated as: eligible verifications / total verifications |
| Rejected rate |
The percentage of all verifications that were ultimately rejected (false) Calculated as: rejected verifications / total verifications |
| Inconclusive rate |
The percentage of all verifications that were ultimately inconclusive (null) Calculated as: inconclusive verifications / total verifications |
| Marketing opt-in rate |
The rate at which consumers chose to receive marketing communications, among those who were presented with a consent option and made a choice Calculated as: marketing opt-in count / (opt-in count + opt-out count) |
| Required document review rate |
The percentage of verifications where the consumer was required to upload a document to continue (regardless of if they did upload a document or abandoned at that stage) Calculated as: document review verifications / total verifications. |
