SSO Improvements
We enhanced our Single Sign-On (SSO) system to more effectively analyze the data provided by educational institutions when verifying students and educators. This enables our ADP to more precisely distinguish a customer's affiliation and offer eligibility.
Enhanced Similar Document Detection
Enhancements to our Similar Document Detection improve your ability to prevent sophisticated offer abuse by using advanced AI to identify subtle signs of forgery, template reuse, and digitally manipulated documents that bad actors may use to bypass standard fraud checks.
By identifying new fraud attacks faster, SheerID can proactively uncover complex fraudulent patterns and instantly block even slightly altered or professionally counterfeited files, securing your valuable offers against the most evasive bad actors.
Enhanced Protection with Standard Signal Intelligence
Standard Signal Intelligence is a real-time defense layer that enhances your offer protection by using a trusted third-party fraud-signal provider to instantly evaluate external data points, such as IP addresses and device attributes. This allows our ADP to detect and block fraudulent activity at the point of verification, keeping your offer secure while ensuring a smooth experience for all legitimate customers.
This protection is included by default for all new programs and enabled on most existing ones.
Verification Coverage
Our commitment to wide and instant coverage means you can more easily expand your programs into new audiences and global markets. These enhancements enable you to grow your reach without sacrificing speed or user experience.
Improved Instant Rates: US Employment + US Military
By refining our verification protocols, we directly increased the percentage of successful, instant verifications for our US Military and US Employment audiences. This removes friction in the purchase process and enables customers to get verified and redeem your offer more quickly.

MySheerID Hosted Page Reporting
Detailed reporting on your SheerID hosted pages is now available. It provides valuable insight on how users interact with your forms—such as, page views, clicks, and drop-offs—that you can leverage to optimize your programs.
Auth0 and OAuth:
We've upgraded your login experience. With Auth0 and OAuth, you can now sign in using trusted providers without needing to use additional passwords, which means faster and easier access, stronger security, and less hassle for teams managing SheerID programs.
New Products
Affinity Network Account Tagging
We completed development work enabling customers who use Account Tagging to participate in SheerID's Affinity Network. As a reminder customers with Military and Student Programs with a standard implementation can take advantage of this powerful acquisition tool.
