Consumer Verification: New Rejection Reason for Documents

We've added a new rejection reason for documents we're unable to review due to legal restrictions (e.g. certain government IDs like U.S. military Common Access Cards.) The new rejection code is RESTRICTED_DOCUMENT, and consumers will see the following message: "Due to legal restrictions, we were unable to review the uploaded government ID."

This update ensures consumers are clearly informed when document types are restricted from verification.

Consumer Verification: Help Center Redesign

We have redesigned our Consumer Help Center based on feedback we've received. This includes streamlining the Q&A section to focus on the key questions consumers are asking. The URL remains unchanged, so any resources directing consumers to our support center or team will continue to work seamlessly.

Consumer Verification: CVEC Number Collection and Use for French University Students

We've added a new field to student verification forms for French university students, allowing students to optionally provide their CVEC number. The CVEC (Contribution Vie Étudiante et de Campus) is a mandatory fee for all university students in France. If provided, the CVEC number will be used for instant verification before initiating Single Sign-On (SSO) or document upload, speeding up the verification process and improving instant verification rates. We're gradually updating hosted forms and will notify impacted clients over the coming weeks.
