Obtaining testing credentials

SheerID recommends performing end-to-end (E2E) testing to help identify potential issues with data flow and ensure that your program is working as expected before launch. Our Product Support Team can create testing credentials to help you complete E2E testing once your program is in Live mode, but before the form is accessible to customers. 

Testing credentials can be used to simulate an instant success response. They utilize specific data fields for requests associated with an email address. Please let the Product Support team know if you would also like to receive testing instructions to complete the document review flow.

Contact Product Support for testing credentials 

To request testing credentials, send an email to Product Support that includes the required information listed below.

To ensure that only authorized testing is performed, we require one or both of the following to be true for requests:

  • Your SheerID contact (CSM or Account Executive) is CC'd on the email
  • The email was submitted by your MySheerID Account Owner.

Required information in order to create testing credentials:

The Product Support team requires all of the following items in order to create your testing credentials. Please provide these in your initial email request:

  • The program ID and/or Program Name your team is testing
  • A list of all email addresses you would like us to set up with credentials up for testing 
  • Confirmation that the program (or programs) is set to Live, or that you plan on doing so prior to using the provided testing credentials
