In order to save time when setting up a new program in MySheerID, you can leverage an existing program by making a copy that will carry over important customizations like styling and wording.
In this article, you will learn how to copy an existing program to a new program. This can be done for the same or a different consumer community as the original program.
The sections below will describe the differences between copying a program in the same consumer community or a different one.
How to make a copy of a program
To make a copy of an existing program, simply click on the 3-dot option menu on the right side of the program you want to duplicate and choose Copy.
You will then have the option to select a segment for your new program.
Nearly all program settings will be copied to the new program, but there are some exceptions depending on whether it is for the same or a different community. Details are below.
Same consumer community
There are two program settings that will NOT transfer to the new program and must be configured:

New consumer community
There are additional program settings that will need to be configured if creating a program for a new consumer community from a copy.
