Modifying marketing consent

Marketing Consent allows you to reach out to customers with marketing messages in the future. This is enabled by default on all SheerID programs and is displayed at the bottom of your verification submission form using the following language:

How to edit Marketing Consent

1. Login to your MySheerID account, and select the program you wish to edit
2. Click on the Settings button
3. Locate the Marketing Consent card and click Edit to open the dialog box

Changes you can make

1. Remove Marketing Consent from your form by moving the toggle from On to Off.
2. Make consent a required field for verification form submission.
   • When this field is selected, the user receives the following error message if submission is attempted without checking the box:
3. Customize the message that accompanies the Marketing Consent option in your verification form. Replace SheerID's default text with a tailored message. Enter your text into the Consent text field in the Marketing Consent dialog box.

The default {Company Name} template in the text box will pull your company name from your MySheerID account configuration.

Preview your Marketing Consent experience by closing the Settings tab and clicking on the Program URL.
