The Benchmark Comparison Dashboard helps you compare your account performance against anonymized data from a sample of other SheerID clients.
How to access the dashboard
- Log in to your MySheerID account
- Click on the Reporting tab
- Open the menu next to Program Performance Dashboard
- Select Benchmark Comparison Dashboard from the list
Dashboard filters
Use the filters at the top of the dashboard to select your comparison industries, audiences, and countries, or to adjust the timeframe.
| Timeframe | Controls how far back the system pulls benchmark data. The default timeframe is the past 30 days. This filter updates every tile on the report except for the Seasonal Rate tile. |
| Your audience | Filters by your configured audiences. If you leave this field blank, the report combines metrics across all your audiences. This filter updates all tiles except comparison-specific tiles, which include "(Comparison)" in the title. |
| Your country | Filters metrics for a specific country. If you leave this field blank, the report combines metrics across all your configured countries. This filter updates all tiles except comparison-specific tiles and the Geographic Comparison tile. |
| Comparison industry | Changes the comparison industry. If you leave this field blank, the report combines data across all qualified industries. |
| Comparison audience | Changes the comparison audience. If you leave this field blank, the report combines data across all qualified audiences. Use this filter to view comparison metrics for a specific audience. This filter updates all tiles except your account-specific tiles. |
| Comparison country | Changes the comparison country. If you leave this field blank, the report combines data across all qualified countries. Use this filter to view comparison metrics for a selected country. This filter updates all tiles except your account-specific tiles and the Geographic Comparison tile. |
| Map rate | Changes the metric displayed on the Geographic Comparison tile. The default rate is Eligible Rate. to view a different rate, select a new value and rerun the report. This filter updates only the Geographic Comparison tile. |
| Seasonal rate | Changes the metric displayed on the Seasonal Rate tile. The default rate is Eligible Rate. To view a different rate on this tile, select a new value and rerun the report. This filter updates only the Seasonal Rate tile. |
Report tiles and metrics
Geographic comparison tile
This tile shows how your account performs against the benchmark in a specific country. Hover over a colored country on the map to view performance direction:
- Lighter blue (far left): Indicates your account is performing better than the benchmark in that country.
- Darker blue (far right): Indicates the benchmark is performing better than your account in that country.
- Gray: Indicates your account has no traffic in that country, or the country is not eligible for benchmarking.
Seasonal rate tile
This tile compares your performance in the current year to the benchmark performance from the previous year to highlight seasonal changes. The tile uses two colors:
- Gray: Benchmark rate for the previous year for the comparison.
- Blue: Your rate for the current year.
Glossary
| Eligible Rate |
The rate of eligible verifications: Eligible: The individual matched against at least one verification source and is verified as eligible for the offer. Ineligible: The individual is not currently eligible for the offer because they did not match against a verification source. |
| Rejected Rate | The rate of rejected verifications (formerly referred to as false verifications). This metric does not include inconclusive verifications. |
| Inconclusive | A verification that did not finish the full verification process, resulting in neither an Eligible nor a Rejected status. |
| Instant Rate | The percentage of successful verifications completed using instant data sources. |
| Audience | The group configured for a program, such as student, military, or educator. |
| Country | The country of the organization where a user verified (for example, US for UCLA). |
| Organization | The institution or entity that a user verifies against, such as a school or military branch. |
| % of Volume | The percentage of total verification volume from a specific organization. |
