What are DataConnectors?
SheerID's DataConnectors encompass all methods used to link your SheerID program with your existing data systems. They allow you to transfer data collected with SheerID to hundreds of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, Customer Data Platforms (CDP), and engagement platforms within your company's technology ecosystem. Doing so enables you to utilize that data to re-engage your customers.
Below are just some examples of what you can do with DataConnectors:
- Send your data to marketing technology platforms for use in retargeting campaigns
- Add community tags to contacts in your CRM to create unique segments for enhanced personalization
- Build look-alike models to improve customer acquisition with your ad partners
- Deepen relationships with new members of your loyalty program by running campaigns that reward the communities to which they belong
What are the DataConnectors products?
SheerID offers two core solutions to connect verification data to the platforms and internal systems you use every day.
CRM Sync
CRM Sync, formerly known as DataConnectors, aggregates your verification data in your CRM or CDP platform, enriching your consumer analytics, marketing, and business intelligence – independent of the verification process. For example, consumers who were unable to qualify for an offer have a demonstrated interest in your brand, and could be retargeted during a seasonal generally available promotion.
CRM Sync can be enabled by SheerID's Professional Services team to push verification PII collected by SheerID to the data destinations of your choosing. Our team will work with you to identify the destinations of interest and discuss how to enable a connection between SheerID and that software package for the purpose of transmitting PII data to it, along with configuring any specific data requirements you may have.
You can find CRM Sync settings (labeled as DataConnector) in the Settings section, or in the program editor, but destination details must be entered by SheerID staff prior to enabling it in the Program Builder.
Webhooks
Webhooks provide a mechanism for alerting you about seminal events in the verification journey, and prompting you to take the next step. This is a similar concept to receiving an urgent email notification on your phone which prompts you to open the app and then read, reply to, and archive a message thread. Most often this form of integration is used to facilitate real-time account tagging of an individual consumer for loyalty or reward purposes.

Who is eligible for DataConnectors?
DataConnectors are available to all customers with an annual package. - Market: Leverage the SheerID data in your loyalty and marketing programs.
