Reminder emails are a great way to optimize conversions by decreasing abandonment. When someone attempts to verify and is not instantly approved they’re offered the option to upload a document. If the customer decides not to upload and abandons the process, SheerID can send them a reminder email with a CTA URL that they can use to return to the verification flow and upload a document.
To access reminder emails in MySheerID:
- Log in to your MySheerID account (and ensure your user account has Program Admin permissions)
- Select the program you wish to view
- Choose Settings from the top navigation bar
Scroll down to find the Email card and select Reminder from the dropdown
Reminder emails are triggered 15 minutes after a user is not instantly verified – unless they have chosen to upload a document. SheerID can assist in adding additional reminder email notifications at a cadence of your choosing (i.e. 15 minutes and 2 days), but cannot add any additional copy/text to a second reminder email.
Programs built after August 2022 using the MySheerID Program Builder have the reminder email feature enabled by default.
